MARKING the topping off of its second building called Birmingham, Camella has announced it will construct Camella Northpoint’s 3rd tower, Nottingham, sooner than originally planned.
“We have moved the construction date forward to cater to the demand for Northpoint units, as Nottingham has been selling quite well like the first two buildings, Manchester and Birmingham, which are already sold out,” Escalicas said.
Camella Northpoint is the landmark condo development of Camella and the newest premier address in Davao City, located at the junction of JP Laurel Avenue, Bajada and Buhangin Road.
Birmingham is targeted for completion by year’s end, while Nottingham will commence construction by 3rd quarter.
The topping off was witnessed by HLURB regional director Miguel Palma Gil, Kim Amar of MGS Construction, Camella Davao general manager Marlon B. Escalicas, brokers, agents and unit owners, last June 11 at the site.
Starting with a Holy Mass, the topping off ceremony was followed by a tree-planting activity undertaken by Camella’s sales networks.
Northpoint unit owners also had a tree-planting last May, and Camella staff and management last April.
Planted around the landscaped grounds of the condo property were imported Caribbean pine trees that augmented the existing pine trees planted by Camella over a year ago. The new pine trees are part of the second batch that costs another P2 million worth, intended to further green Northpoint and turn it into a green community and verdant pine grove.
The tree planting is part of the GreenViron Campaign for Sustainability of Vista Land & Lifescapes, the largest homebuilder in the country, where Camella is a subsidiary. GreenViron was launched last April to commemorate the Earth Hour, and is intended not only to green the developments of Camella all over the country, but to ultimately contribute to environmental preservation.
