CAMELLA Northpoint’s property value continues its steady rise as the masterplan condo community further takes shape with the construction of its second mid-rise tower well under way.
“The steady and rapid pace of development in Northpoint has further built up its value, influenced also by the ongoing urban development of north Davao where it is located,” remarked Marlon B. Escalicas, general manager of Camella Communities Davao.
Escalicas revealed Northpoint’s studio unit was up from P1.3 million at the time it was first launched, to its current rate of P1.6 million, and is still expected to rise as development progresses.
With its first building, Manchester, almost completed and expected to be turned over very soon, construction of the second building called Birmingham is in full swing.
Camella is expected to launch its third tower soon, this time a 10-storey building which will be the first 10-level condo in Davao.
Northpoint’s grand clubhouse, called Wakefield Manor, has been completed since last year, with its stately multi-purpose hall overlooking its sparkling swimming pool filled with salinated water, the first of its kind in the city.
Another key factor in the rise of Northpoint’s property value is its strategic location at the junction of JP Laurel in Bajada and Buhangin Road, two of Davao’s major thoroughfares.
Public transportation is accessible right outside the condo property, providing easy and fast commutes to all points of destination in the city.
The site is also neighbor to ongoing modern developments such as high-end malls, supermarkets, posh commercial and retail shops, specialty restaurants, recreation areas, hotels, and office and commercial centers.
As developments like these intensify within close proximity to Northpoint, they become value factors that pull up the property value of this landmark condo project of Camella.
“The progressive environment around Northpoint has contributed a lot to its desirability, and we expect its value to go up even higher as development continues not only within the condo project, but also within its immediate environs,” Escalicas added.
Another value factor for Northpoint is that it will be handled by a professional property management company from Manila to ensure the maintenance of the condo property, its amenities and facilities, as well as its security and other systems.
Northpoint is also expected to enjoy a decent and vibrant community life with a diverse mix of homeowners such as doctors, engineers, successful businessmen, top level managers and officers of corporations, professionals, overseas Filipinos, and well-heeled foreigners.
