MANILA, Philippines – Savannah, the community of Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc. in Iloilo recently marked its 10th year with a celebration dubbed “Savannah 10 @ 2010: Bigger, Better and Stronger”. The celebration also marked 10 years of partnership with the people of Iloilo in their bid to fulfill their dream of owning a home as well as the continued commitment of the developer to provide housing development in the region.

The event began with a city-wide motorcade followed by a thanksgiving Mass. A photo mosaic was unveiled along with the opening of an exhibit by local artists. The day ended with the Savannah Night Bazaar, a Food Festival and entertainment.

In 10 years, Savannah has grown into one of the grandest urban developments in Western Visayas. It is located across three barangays – Oton, Pavia and San Miguel in Iloilo, and has emerged as a sought-after address in the region.

The community is defined by charming homes, modern amenities, elevated standard of living, and the sustained maintenance of the property.

Savannah’s sprawling 300-hectare development is inspired by the l picturesque colonial city of the State of Georgia. This inspiration has been translated into the property’s four enclaves: Crest, Trails, Glades and Glen – each one offering a unique interpretation of the grandeur that characterized the city, but customizing it to suit the different lifestyles and varied needs of its residents.

There are also home choices for buyers looking for the most practical solution to owning a home with Lessandra – a townhome development of Camella which has been a prominent choice in areas where it was offered. Lessandra Heights in Iloilo opened during the last quarter of 2010. Also set to open are two new enclaves, namely Orchard and Pine Grove, which will continue the growth of the development.

Savannah also offers house-and-lot packages which give homeowners flexibility to build more spacious homes within their financial means. Rates range from P3,800 to P5,200 per sqm for lot-only packages, P734,000 to P1.2 million for townhomes, P1.3 to P2.6 million for affordable packages and P2.6 to P5.5 million for mid-cost packages.

Complementing the lifestyle is a host of amenities such as a clubhouse, swimming pool, gym, day care center, Georgia International Academy, lush parks and 24-hour security and CCTV cameras on all the four enclaves.

The community is just 15 minutes away from the Iloilo airport and other establishments in the area, making it a prime location that is accessible to all. Its accessibility will be further enhanced with the opening of new direct transport routes or shuttle services from the property to Molo Plaza, Jaro Plaza, Plaza Libertad and the People’s Terminal in Ungka Pavia.

“Savannah is a vision come alive,” said Camella president Jerylle Luz Quismundo. “Ten years ago, no one would have thought that something this massive could rise from that site. It is a bold statement – a testament to the quality of living that the citizens of Iloilo enjoy.”

The growth is far from slowing down. In the next 10 years, it is envisioned to complete the next addition to the community – a modern, mixed-used development consisting of BPO hubs, commercial districts, soccer field and other sports facilities, verdant open spaces, and a church which will start construction this 2011 – creating a model community at the forefront of modern sustainability.

Camella, a Vista Land company, has over 35 years of experience in building homes. It has built more than 200,000 homes through 87 projects and is maintaining a strong presence in Metro Manila and 19 other key provincial destinations and 44 cities and municipalities, while expanding to other regions.
