THE NEGROS CHRONICLE SUNDAY EDITION: FEBRUARY 5, 2012

Camella Dumaguete blessed the three model houses the traditional Filipino way. From the Catholic mass to the merienda with delicious local delicacies of kutsinta, cassava cake and empanada, the ceremony bespoke of family bonds and faith.

The Camella team, along with its family of agents, brokers and buyers, gathered for this event, which is a typical religious ritual started by early Catholicism intended to protect inhabitants from unforeseen occurrences.

Apart from its religious, the ceremony is more of a social event, and touches of modern practices meant to usher in prosperity were inserted, like the throwing of coins that is basically a Chinese practice and the breaking of a wine bottle led by contractor/engineer Engr. Karlo Pacuribot, and Engr. Vilmor Gentilezo which is a European tradition.

Camella Dumaguete blends the advantages of countryside  charm and urban comfort. Residents will wake up to the refreshing scent of Carribean pine trees surrounding the entire subdivision, and will enjoy strolls around lush gardens, pocket parks and meditation ponds set against a magnificent view of the Negros
